Cold-Case-Investigator Ynez Montero has been trying for years to shed 

light on crimes committed long ago. But the fight against forgetting is not easy. 

Too less leads—too less clues—and Ynez knows what she's talking about.

Twenty-five years ago, her mother disappeared without a trace. 

The only clues are a yellowed photo and the postmark on a letter.

“Guardian-Angel” Rafael Charron never imagined that his parents' 

harmless request to check on the house would end in his kidnapping.

But the sight of the gun barrel leaves no room for doubt. Despite the danger 

he is in, Rafael senses that there is much more to it than that. With his 

curiosity aroused, he tries to free himself from his captor's clutches 

to uncover the secret behind his abduction.

Ynez's encounter with Rafael does not go well. She would love to get rid 

of him as quickly as possible, but the handsome man stubbornly remains 

on her heels. His interest in her and her past seems too great. 

But Ynez knows that she must resist his advances and not let herself be 

carried away by her feelings. However, she realizes almost too late that Rafael 

is no longer her only problem, because someone is after her life, 

and not for the first time.
